Tether the World

Overview:

Tether the World is a 2D platformer game where you control the world instead of a character. Try to tether the world to something sturdy! This game was created for the GMTK Game Jam 2023 and incorporates the theme "roles reversed" by swapping the classic designations of player and platform.

Content:

This game contains 10 platforming levels, but more may be added later. I recommend downloading the game for better performance.

Controls:

The controls are explained here as well as in-game:

• Movement: Arrow keys / WASD
• Jumping: Up arrow key / W
• Restart Level: R

• All art by me, but not created during the jam. Most of it is reused from Synchronous.
• Font from Google Fonts.
• Sound from Freesound.
