Known Bugs:

  • To completely restart the game after dying, please refresh the page for the game to initialize properly.
  • Pressing Shift twice without moving crashes the game on the Web version. Just make sure you're always moving while holding shift or try the desktop version.

Take charge of a mech on a mission to save the world by controlling the individual electrons in its motherboard.

Objective:

Your objective is to stop the enemy forces from launching their rocket that will destroy the sun itself. Work your way up through the enemy's forces and fend them off until you can mount their rocket and find a way to disarm it through its computer system.

By making the right connections, you can take cover, spray the enemy with bullets, demolish them with missiles, and even utilize your devastating tesla coil area-of-effect attack.

Be warned, though. This game is difficult.

Move electrons around on the robot's motherboard to different modules to control the robot's actions. You can only do so many actions before having to return to a power source to receive more charge.

Pressing and holding Shift while moving an electron will cause it to repeat that action indefinitely, allowing you to automate mundane tasks while you focus on more important things.

For example, you can start an electron at one Leg Servo and hold shift while you navigate to the Primary Power Module and finally to the other Leg Servo. Letting go of shift will allow you to never think about moving towards your target again!

Modules:

  • Emergency Power Module - Gives a small amount of charge
  • Generator - Gives a large amount of charge
  • Optical Sensors - Set a movement target
  • Leg Servos - Move towards movement target when activated alternately
  • Machine Gun - Release dozens of bullets at the enemies
  • Missile Factory - Queue up a Missile to fire
  • Missile Launcher - Fire a Missile
  • Tesla Coil - Unleash an area-of-effect attack

Controls:

  • WASD or Arrow keys - Move current electron
  • Shift - Hold while moving electrons to set up an automation that repeatedly plays
  • Tab - Cycle between electrons
  • Enter - Switch between views

I think the game looks great and fun, but I have one issue.  I don't really understand how to play.  Maybe I'm just bad at understanding the instructions, but I don't understand the circuit board.  I really want to play though!

Yeah, if I'd have had more time I'd have added a better tutorial. The idea is that special modules are marked by a red light and moving over one with an electron activates it at the cost of charge gained by moving over one of the power units. It takes quite a bit of getting used to.

(1 edit)

I like how It looks, but when I click shift the game crashes (Still, I think you did a good job with the presentation)

That's a bug I haven't encountered yet. What version are you using and when did the crash happen?

I was playing the browser version of the game

I found what you mean. For some reason, pressing the right shift key causes the game to divide by zero for some reason. If you care to try again, I'm pretty sure it'll work with the left shift key.

Turns out the problem wasn't the right shift key, but pressing shift repeatedly without moving the electron. As long as you hold it while moving at least one node away, you should be good to go.
