Funny-Looking "Simulator" v2.0 is now available!

Overview:

Welcome to the world inside of the Funny-Looking Simulator! Here you'll meet a crowd of charming little people wandering about and sharing news with each other. Each has one of eight personalities (as shown by the hat they wear) and a completely unique set of traits. You can even become one of them!

WAIT!

Before you dismiss this as the most boring thing you've ever seen, give it a try! Immerse yourself in the world of these people and their news. Start rooting for the shy person in the corner to be brave enough to start talking and for the last speedy straggler to be informed of all the trivial news by the people who "must spread the news!"

For your better immersion into this monochrome world, here are the eight personalities any given person can have. Try to match them up with someone's dialogue, behavior, and (of course) hat!

Background:

All jokes aside, this is just a small side project I made based on a friend's idea to simulate how fast news spreads through a crowd. I may have gotten a bit carried away, but I'm proud of how it turned out.  Now before you think I've gone insane, go check out Synchronous (to realize that I may have truly gone insane).

Controls:

• Spectator Mode (best experienced with a mouse):
  • Click on a person for information about their personality.
  • Click the colors below the speech bubble to learn about the news.
  • Right-click (or right analog stick) to pan.
  • Scroll (or controller triggers) to Zoom.
  • Escape (or Select) to return to the Title Screen to start a new Simulation.
• Player Mode (best experienced with a controller):
  • Space (or controller right bumper) to become a random person.
  • Shift (or any of the main four buttons) to spread news (if you know any.)
  • T (or controller left bumper) to toggle free camera.
  • Control (or Start) to go back to being a spectator.
